Subterranean Street Society

Somewhere between the gray canals of Amsterdam and the wind-swept cliffs of Malin Head, something new emerged for Subterranean Street Society. This Danish-Dutch trio, built around singer and street musician Louis Puggaard-Müller, knows better than anyone what it means to feel at home in that movement. Their music blends Danish melancholy with Dutch directness, culminating in a bridge between worlds: poetic, intense, guitar-heavy, spiritual, powerful, and unadulterated. You might call it ‘rock-gospel’; somewhere between raw grunge and folk tales. Besides frontman Louis, the band consists of Ivo Schot (bass/guitar/production) and Joost Koevoets (drums).
