About Jose Freedom:
Born and raised in the twin-island Caribbean nation of Trinidad & Tobago, Jose Freedom has spent over 18 years immersed in Caribbean Carnival culture through competitions, concerts, performances, and international events.
Now based in Prague, he has built a strong name within the European, UK, and US Carnival communities as a touring dancer, teacher, performer, choreographer, singer, and musical act.
Jose has shared stages and opened for some of the biggest names in Soca, including Kes the Band and Machel Montano, as well as Afrobeats stars such as Rema, Omah Lay, and Skales.
Passionate about representing Trinidad & Tobago’s culture worldwide, Jose continues to promote the global growth of Soca music and dance through teaching, performance, and cultural exchange.
With university-level studies in Dance, Music, Acting, Theatre Design, and Production, he combines professional artistic training with authentic Caribbean energy — creating an unforgettable workshop experience rooted in culture, freedom, and expression.
